The Rivolver 8″ Radiused Edge CBN Grinding Wheel is a high-performance upgrade designed for use with the Rivolver CWI-BG805 and CWI-BG808 Bench Grinders, as well as other slow-speed grinders. Available in an 8” x 1.5” size with a 5/8” bore, these wheels are perfect for sharpening and grinding various tools with precision. The 1.5” width provides ample space for sharpening larger chisels, while the radiused edge makes it easy to sharpen round-nosed tools, even without a fingernail jig. This dual-purpose design, combined with a flat face for hollow grinding, delivers versatility for sharpening a wide variety of tools.

Constructed from high-quality machined aluminum bodies and electroplated with CBN (cubic boron nitride), these wheels offer extreme durability and precision. CBN's hardness, nearly equivalent to diamond, ensures that even the toughest steels can be ground with ease, while the electroplating guarantees the abrasive particles remain intact, meaning no abrasive flaking and no need for wheel guards. These wheels maintain their size without truing, allowing for consistent sharpening and eliminating the hassle of periodic adjustments to your jigs.

The superior thermal conductivity of CBN, combined with the aluminum body, keeps the grinding surface cooler, minimizing the risk of overheating tools. This allows you to grind right to the tip without damaging the steel, reducing the need for additional honing. Available in grits from 80 for aggressive material removal to 600 for ultra-fine polishing, these wheels are designed to meet the needs of a variety of sharpening applications, offering precision, efficiency, and long-lasting performance.
