The Oneway 3/8" Single-Ended Bowl Gouge has a proportionately tight flute which is extremely useful for fine finishing.
All tools in the Mastercut line have been made from CPM M4 HSS steel hardened to 63 RC, and the flute ground from the solid piece.
This ensures no decarburization of the metal during hardening, allowing the metal to stay sharper for longer.
It also creates a great flute finish, a smooth finish allows wood cutting to slide easily through the flute when turning.
